Premonition works hard at wearing out its welcome, with numerous scenes that don't seem to add up and too many characters who feel underwritten.. Somber but soulful, Premonition has a strong dramatic performance by Sandra Bullock and a gimmicky plot that doesn't grate until the end.. The script could have used some analysis itself.
